Terms of Service

Kaelmoor.io · Last updated: 3 August 2026
The short version. Play fair, do not attack the servers, do not pick an offensive kingdom name, and do not use a modified client. The game is free and provided as-is; we cannot promise it will always be up, and matches can end or reset at any time.

1. Who these terms are between

Kaelmoor.io ("the game") is operated by Daniel Kiss ("we", "us"), reachable at kaelmoor.io@gmail.com.

By loading and playing the game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not play. There is nothing to sign and no account to create — playing is the agreement.

2. What the game is

A free, browser-based, real-time strategy game. There are no accounts, no purchases, no virtual currency and nothing to buy. You join a world, you are given a kingdom, and the match runs until a team holds the continent.

3. Who may play

You must be at least 16 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian. We ask for no personal details, so we have no way to verify this and rely on you.

4. Rules of conduct

While playing you must not:

5. There is no chat

The game has no text chat, no private messages and no free-form profiles, deliberately. Teams coordinate with map pings, which use a fixed set of phrases. The only text you can put in front of another player is your kingdom name, and section 4 governs it.

6. If you break the rules

We may refuse a name, remove you from a match, or block your access, at our discretion and without notice. Because the game is free and holds no account, there is nothing to refund and nothing to restore. If you believe a decision was wrong, write to us and we will look at it.

To report another player's behaviour, or anything else about the game, email kaelmoor.io@gmail.com. Tell us the world, the kingdom name, and roughly when.

7. Availability — no promises

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may change it, take worlds down, reset matches, or stop the service entirely, at any time and without notice. A match in progress can be lost to a restart, a crash or a network fault, and that is a normal part of a free service, not a failure of these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost time, lost progress or lost matches, or for any damage arising from your use of or inability to use the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Who owns what

The game — its source code, its design, its procedurally generated art and music, its name and its branding — belongs to us and is protected by copyright. Playing the game grants you no rights in it beyond permission to play. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of it.

The game is built on open-source components used under their own permissive licences. Their notices are published at /licenses, as those licences require.

10. Your data

What we process and why is set out in the Privacy Policy. In short: your IP address, because a connection needs one, and your kingdom name, because other players see it. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to play after a change means you accept the new version. If a change is significant, we will say so in the game.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
